Friends, Family and Fun Come Together this Sunday in Support of The Ojai Library Expansion

Movino Wine Bar & Gallery hosts first of thirteen ”Grow Your Library” fundraising events held throughout the year

Ojai, California, August 10, 2004 – Movino Wine Bar & Gallery creator and owner Suzy Johlfs is the first of thirteen Ojai business owners who will be hosting monthly events in support of the Grow Your Library campaign. This year-long campaign was conceived by Sanford Drucker to inspire community involvement in helping expand the Ojai Library. Those who donate $10.00 to the Grow Your Library campaign receive 10% off at the thirteen Ojai businesses during various months*.

"Because the Ojai Library has played such an important role in the development of my family, I was all too happy to participate and help in raising expansion funds," said Suzy Johlfs. "I really wanted to make this initial effort a family event so we've gathered a number of local friends, companies and artists to help raise awareness and contributions to this wonderful cause."

Following is the schedule line up for this Sunday, August 15th , held at Movino Wine Bar & Gallery and co-hosted by Gabe Saglie, KEY News anchor – all gathered to entertain and educate family, friends and Ojai Library patrons.

2:45 Demiti Corbin and his troop of young actors performing Peachtree Theater Company's Cardboard Fairytales: The Knight Life
3:30 Dan Cerminaro and the students of the Ojai Valley Tae Kwon Do Academy

Ongoing activities include Diana Lopez and her Hip Happening Hoops, special surprises from Zhena's Gypsy Tea and Allen Tager's Tager Fine Arts Institute will be working with kids to create their own works of art. The artwork can either be brought home with each child or proudly displayed in the Ojai Library in support of the Grow Your Library event.
